First of all I don't know what the lady that said her car seat flipped over did because I've had mine for 16 months now & it's still as secure as the day I put it in!!! The car seat & stroller are bigger than your average sized travel system so it is bulky. That's why I have mixed reviews about this because in a way I like that factor & at the same time it's a pain in the butt!! I feel my baby is a lot safer since it's bigger. The stroller isn't as nice of a ride & doesn't maneauver as well as my sister-in-laws Graco Quatro Tour stroller so I am disappointed about that. It folds up terribly & is very heavy/bulky. But the storage basket is definitely larger than any other strollers that I've seen. I also wish the baby tray would swing open instead of swing up because if my son has snacks in the tray I have to scoop those up when he want to get out (just a convenience factor I guess). Over all the look is very universal for boy or girl & isn't so "trendy" like a lot of other ones out there. So you won't be embarassed 4 years down the road when you still are using this. I do feel like this is a very sturdy stroller that will be usable for many years. I just wish it would maneauver better & was a little lighter without jeapordizing the sturdiness & safe feeling I get!

I hated this travel system. I used it a total of two times now it is collecting dust down in the basement. The stroller is way too bulky when you fold it and when you open it. I went out and bought a stroller from toys r us that is a Cosco that is light weight. You can bring it anywhere and it has different positions to adjust the back. The car seat don't even get me started I put my daughter in it and it would go side ways when you turned corners on the road even at a slow speed. The base I had was curved at the bottom I don't know why an Eddie Bauer product car seat base would be curved and rounded at the bottom. The one in the picture above does not look the one you would get at Big Lots so just beware of the car base being rounded at the bottom of it. I put the seat belt in as tight as I and my dad could and when I put my daughter in it it was top heavy. I thought I had it in really good one time and put her in it to drive to the Doctor's and all of a sudden the whole car seat rolled. I was so panicked I pulled over as fast as I could and ended up never using the car seat ever again. On top of that to carry that car seat around was a pain because it was so heavy.

I did not buy from this seller but I got this same carseat on Amazon and I am EXTREAMLY pleased with it! For being a convertible carseat it's actually light weight when it comes to carrying it from car to car! I back has a nice handle to carry it with and there are place's for the LACH belts to clip on to in the back so that there are no belts hanging around or dragging on the floor. I love how easy it is to adjust as they get bigger. No re-threading, it's practicly one-handed to adjust! Fit's 5pound baby's snug with plenty of room for you toddler as they grow big. Very easy to put in and out of car's rear faceing as well and forward facing. I well tell you though in a small car in order for the carseat to be on the right angle while rear facing the front seat has got to be all the way forward leaving not a lot of room for the person in the front seat. But we love this carseat and it was most deffinantly worth the money! I maybe wish I would of invested in it from birth and not just when we needed a bigger one!

I just bought this for my daughter today and she loved it (we got the Rain-forest Design) We have an Eddie Bauer car seat/booster seat with a 5pt harness and it worked perfectly with it. Other posters have mentioned they couldn't figure out how to attach it and it is quite simple, the little alligator clips hook to the side of the car seat cover (or the car seat itself) you just turn them upside down as you clip them. To prevent the downward slope other posters mentioned make sure that the straps are good and tightened and when you put the desk on the kids lap angle the straps toward the rear of the car seat before you clip them, this makes a HUGE difference, my first try I had the straps angled straight down and it sloped so I angled it toward the back and re-clipped them and problem solved!

Purchased this for car trips that last 4+ hours. This was the only tray I could find at the store. It isn't nearly big enough to hold a coloring book. It is supposed to clip onto something but there are no directions to tell you what to clip it to. Clipping it to the car seat cover didn't provide enough support and the tray slipped. My daughter had to balance it on her thighs.

It was basically unusable becaue there was no way to fasten it to the car seat. Do not recommend this product unless you have a car seat with definite straight arms on which it can rest and an older child is involved than my 18 month old grand daughter. Also, the information provided did not adequately describe how it fastens and I did not know until I ordered it that I would need to be in the back seat with my grand daughter and hold it in place for her to use it. It is a great idea but poorly executed. The mfgr needs to rethink this product.

This was a pretty good purchase. My 2-year-old used it on a 20-hour road trip and did okay. The only thing is that you have to use a blankie or something to prop up the front end of the desk, or it slants forward. It attached to our Britax carseat just fine though. My wife, son and I were recently in a roll over accident. Everyone is okay and no one was hurt. My son didn't even have a scratch on him. I am a mom to 6 kids, ages range from 11 years to 6 months. I have tried every carseat out there, and have fallen in LOVE with this one. We own three of these, and I am buying a fourth for our 6 month old. We firt purchased one of these seats in March 2006. Other carseats get bunched up with the straps, or they are a pain to adjust the straps, or they don't fit the baby right, or are too frustrating to figure out. This one is super easy, even to take apart and wash, and put back together. It has the LATCH system, which makes it super easy to install, and easy to get the right height with the adjustable base that is included. It also has a strap between the legs that you can easily adjust the straps around the child, with a touch of a button, if they are wearing a coat, or take the coat off. I love that feature! I went on an airplane from Tampa, FL, to Sacramento, CA by myself with my 5 kids at the time, and brought 2 of these carseats on the airplane, for my 11 month old, and my 23 month old, and they fit perfect, even side by side on the plane seats. We have an 8 seater toyota sienna minivan, and I have these 3 carseats installed in our van, with plenty of room for my other 3 kids. I don't know why it has such a bad review, unless people aren't using it properly. I have tried some of the other seats out there, and get so frustrated with everything on them, this is the only seat to buy. I usually transfer my babies into this seat around 6-7 months old, and they fit great. We have an autistic 4 year old, and he still fits this seat with the 5 point harness system very comfortably, and he can't escape it either. I love the cupholders, although I don't know if that is still a feature. The one thing we didn't really like was the attached pillow, so we just take it off. The covered straps work great for supporting the babies and toddlers heads when they fall asleep. We recently went to California driving from Colorado (20 hour drive, and we drove straight through the night) and both boys heads were well supported, and they slept great both there and back. I have owned one of these seats for almost 4 years, and the other 2 for about 2 years, and they are all still in perfect shape! I highly reccomend this carseat!!!

I am not sure why everyone is complaining about installing this car seat. It took about 5 minutes no problems at all. We also have a Graco Nautilus which we LOVE and I think this seat equals it. We choose this seat because it reclines a bit more for our younger child to use until he is bigger and his head doesn't flop down while sleeping. Seriously, it is a great seat and for the price there nothing better!

I don't know how I ended up buying this car seat but I did. It was a big mistake. The car seat looks wonderful, felt comfortable to my 9 month old son. But let me tell you it was a pain to try and install. As I was looking at it inside the house I though everyone was retarded for not being able to get it in, well shame on me.



First I tried to install it rear facing as he is under a year in the center. No good, my center belt kept loosening up and I do not have the latch system in my 2000 4 runner and this is after I finally figured out you have to take the cover off to get the belt through the hole... wow. So the seat was wobbly. I then moved it over behind me still rear facing and my belt pulled it up sideways and it was still wobbly, the base of the seat didn't even fit with the shape of my car seat. Ugh,



After a half an hour of this I decide to turn it around forward facing and keep him in his infant seat until he is a year. I install it and lo and behold, still wobbly and once again the shape of the car seat does not go with my car. Needless to say I hate this seat and I am returning it as soon as possible.
