It's easy to see how this cover protects against the sun since this netting is hardly see through. There are just two small side panels that are actually mesh like expected. The main fabric has holes in it but is a solid fabric NOT like the picture on Amazon or on the box that it comes in. I have since purchased the GRACO brand netting, and it is mesh as pictured.

I ordered this product thinking it would look like the picture, when in fact, it does not. There is a big solid white panel down the middle that blocks your view into the carseat. When I approached the seller for refund, he would not refund my money as it was a gift off of my registry and now I am stuck with a product I can't use. The seller is not willing to try to change the picture nor admit that they were selling a different product than they were advertising...I would find something else...

I agree with the other reviewer in that the product doesn't look like the picture. It is solid white fabric down the middle and the fabric doesn't look that breathable. You CANNOT SEE YOUR CHILD through the fabric. The mesh is only on the sides. The product featured in the picture displayed is not what you are actually purchasing! This is really annoying. I'm going to try to return mine.

This product will be great in the fall and spring when I want to block bugs and wind, but here it is 100 degrees and up in the summer and there is very little if any air circulation. The mesh is very thick and the baby cannot see through it very well either. I recommend going with a thin mesh from a local store and a ray shade if you live in a hot climate.

I never got the item I ordered even though I paid for everything. The USPS returned the item to the seller without delivering it to my home. The USPS admitted that it was their mistake but they could not do anything to help. The seller said that it was not their mistake either so the seller charged me both way shipping costs (from them to me and back to them) and plus the restocking fee and I did not get anything. I like Amazon a lot and shop with it all the time but this seller does not belong to Amazon even though they sell through Amazon. Next time I will watch the seller carefully.

This is a good idea in theory.. in reality it is a little cumbersome. It is difficult to whip on and off.. and let's face it. With a small baby you need to be able to get to them! Too exopensive for a sub par product. I actually don't think there are many accesories that work well with this stroller.. I just sold mine.

I too struggled to jury-rig a blanket to this stroller to make up for the silly small canopy. Turns out, as soon as my baby was old enough, it became a game to try to pull the blanket off. This sun cover has definitely been our solution. It was designed for the Sport and fits perfectly.



While it looks a bit odd, since the cover is so black, but I can assure you that the baby can see out of the stroller just fine. We get a few odd looks from passer-bys as it looks like a baby in a shroud, but then again, I've gotten a lot of compliments from other moms who understand. :-)

I spent months trying to wrestle a blanket in place to cover my baby when we walked. It was hot adn didn't work well, often slipping onto the ground. I LOVE this cover, it works great, she likes it because she can still see and it sheilds the direct sun rays. Get this and the plastic cover to keep your baby protected year round--if you walk alot it is worth it!!!!!

Our son's nursery has an ocean theme, and quite a few of the items we have -- and are happy with -- are part of Fisher Price's Ocean Wonders series.



These shades, however, we're not so happy with.



Although they're cute, they fail to do what we want: They are too tall to fit onto an ordinary car window, too narrow to block much of the sun, too opaque for a driver to see through and, finally, don't want to stay on the window.



We're going to look for adjustable shades that attach with suction cups or for a good local window-tinting service. These shades were an utter disappointment from the moment I first applied them.

I bought the double sun/insect mesh even though I only have one child in anticipation of the future. It works fine even with only one seat. It goes on pretty easily and my 2 month old can see out of it just fine.



My mesh came with a missing snap in the back, but there seems to be no issues, we generally only snap the top snaps to keep it in place. And I do wish it had a flap to get to the baby easier. Overall it is a great product and I don't have to worry about my baby getting sunburned or bit by bugs while I am running.

I wonder why it's black. Wouldn't it keep the baby cooler if it were a somewhat reflective color? Regardless, it seems to do its job well. I wish the company had made it zip onto the sunshade, instead of covering it, so I could use the peeking window. I like that it has 4 snaps on the bottom. I use a plastic clip from Ikea to hold the extra fabric together when I'm not using the double.

I bought this for my Phil & Ted's Sport stroller and it's VERY effective in keeping the bright sun out of my little girls eyes. It looks really dark in the picture but once you get it you'll see that it's a dark mesh that works like giant sunglasses. Keeps everything harmful out (bugs and sun) but baby gets a nice breeze. It's also easy to store in the mesh pocket in the P&T basket under the seat.

I was looking for a seat cover for my child's car seat to keep it from getting hot when I'm parked outside. This thing does the job very well. Not only was the car seat cool to the touch while the entire car felt over 80 degress (F), but the cover is very easy to put away. There is a little extra rubberband at the bottom where you can just scrunch the entire thing together and hold it in place with the rubberband / elastic. This also makes a great dust cover as it will wrap around the entire top of the car seat to keep the places where your child touches dust free.

Excellent product! I had been using a towel to keep my daugther's car seat out of sunlight when the car was parked but I decided to try this and I'm so glad I did. It folds up really small for storage and has an elastic and toggle to keep it wrapped up in a smaller parcel. Most importantly, this product WORKS, it does exactly what it's meant to. Previously, when I was using a towel to cover the car seat, the car seat was still hot and the metal buckles were still quite hot to the touch as well. This cover keeps the car seat and buckles cool to the touch. Perfect! It keeps my daughter from being burned by the metal buckles and the uncomfortable feeling of sitting on a hot seat. Not to mention you shouldn't leave a car seat out in direct sunlight as it can damage your car seat. I would think this would cover any car seat on the market. My daughter's car seat is huge and it still fits great over it (I live in the UK so it's a European car seat called a Maxi Cosi Mobi and it's a huge beast!). I highly recommend this product, especially for the hot summer months!

This may sound pathetic, but after buying this product I find myself too lazy to use it. You have to take time to stretch the elastic edges around the seat. It's quicker to just throw a blanket over the seat. I've actually decided to spend a few hundred bucks and just get the windows tinted. It's so hot where I live that we're all sweating by the time the AC cools off the car.
