I really liked this car seat. Our son, who is big for his age, just outgrew it, and he's 10 months old. I liked the triangle handle because I hold it in different directions in my hand. It's a little heavy, but this also made it feel sturdier and safer to me.

I, like others, bought this carseat despite negative reviews. I had to fit three car seats in the back of my Subaru and it was the narrowest. I finally broke down and bought a mini-van and even though my baby is almost 7 months, I'm going to shell out the cash for a good old Graco. The handle was getting stuck all the time, and although my husband was able to lube it up, the other problems are still too much to deal with.
It is very difficult to adjust the straps and getting the seat buckled is enough to make me scream every day. With three kids to get out the door, I just do NOT have time to fiddle with a latch for 2+ minutes every time.
Don't waste your money...seriously! My baby is very small and it already seems cramped. I can't imagine how it would be with a big baby.

Although I researched this car seat before buying, and I saw the negative reviews I still bought it. I really liked the design and the cover at the end of the seat. The base seemed really stable too. We purchased this car seat for our 4 pound preemie, that outgrew it in a month. Even when our daughter was 4lbs the car seat was too heavy, so heavy that my mother couldnt even pick it up when she had my daughter. My husband had to take the seat and the baby out to her car and when she got where she was going with my daughter she had to take the baby out of the seat and carry her. I did like the triangle shaped handle but it still was a bear to carry any where and I developed callous on my right hand from carrying it. I do have to admit that I did not have any problems with the handle and straps like others have suggested. And I did get compliments but by the time my daughter was 2 months old and at a whopping 8 pounds we found that it was impossible to carry the carseat and she was really filling out the seat, we decided to return it to the store and purchase the Graco seat. We dont know what we would have done if she was full term and came here at average weight. The seat states that it goes up to 22lbs but I couldnt imagine anyone being able to fit a 22lb baby in that thing. I know that I didnt listen to the others telling me not to buy this seat but please listen to me and dont buy it!

We bought this for our second child and ended up returning it for a Graco SnugRide. We found the straps and handle ridiculously difficult to deal with. It looks nice overall, but it's poorly designed and unfriendly to parents and babies. We are so much happier with the Graco.

This car seat is very difficult to work with.
-The carrying handle is impossible to move up (to carry) and down (to get the baby out). The buttons are VERY difficult to push. You have to press as hard as you can and wiggle back and forth - often dealing with it for literally a minute or 2. Very frustrating.
- The button that releases the straps is similarly hard to push (my mom was watching our son and had to call my wife to come home and help her b/c she couldn't push the button hard enough to release the buckle)
- In general the construction of the car seat is poor quality (it rattles, it's hard to snap the latch system in to your car).
- The release latch to remove the seat from the base is on the wrong side (at the foot instead of the head) so you have to squish your hand in between the car seat and the infant seat to release it (often waking your baby up in the process)
We've had Graco infant seats in the past that are far better. Definitely worth a few extra dollars to get a decent seat.
