I bought a Perego Si Stroller based on some of the rave reviews I had seen and the price. This is my 3rd child and 4th stroller so I had thought it would fit our needs, canopy, reclining features, folding, etc. but I wish I knew more and wish I could return it now! My main beef about the stroller is the basket and the shakiness/wonkiness of the wheels. I never used it with the infant carrier as I had planned to, it was a bit of a hassle and I had another stroller for that job so I can't really complain about it, but not being able to snap it in makes it not very user friendly.
When I try to put anything slightly heavy in the bottom of the stroller it drags the basket down such that I am worried it will drag on the floor. It has ample basket space, just can't use it except for the lightest weight items. We usually need a stroller to carry our "stuff" when we go to Disney, and this stroller will carry the clothes, diapers,, etc but I wouldn't dare put a water bottle, baby food or my purse since I am worried the basket will drag on the ground and be forever ruined. I've never had this problem with any other stroller so I was surprised.
I also have to walk at a very slow speed or else the front wheels shake horribly, makes it uncomfortable for me to push and for the baby to ride. I am not a jogger or talking about speed walking, I am talking about regular walking with my 7 year old to the park. I have to make effort to walk slow enough so it doesn't shake. I get very frustrated by this feature and it makes me want to return it. Even if it were free, I wouldn't want it! I had thought ours was defective, but it seems to be an issue I have now read about so it is an issue with the model.
I do like the canopy and how it folds up. It is much more than an umbrella stroller but I had hoped for something I can really use. I am now stuck trying to figure out what to do with it. I can take it to the local park (if I walk extra slow), but I can't use it at the airport, Disney, etc so it looks like I will be shopping for something else.
I had an Ingelsina Zippy with my daughter and it was awesome, it outshines the Si in everyway, but after 6 years of use and 2 kids it tuckered out and it was pricey. That was why I bought the Si. I will now have to consider the other options.

I want to love this stroller, but it seems that we may have to replace it within the next year. Attaching the car seat to the stroller is not easy. I wish it was like the other perego strollers where you can just "click" it in, this one has two traps that you have to tether and you have to make sure to slide it in just right to make it straight otherwise the car seat is not aligned with the stroller, after 7 months, it still takes us time to place the car seat it just right. If your baby is sleeping, poor baby is awoken from all the movement of trying to get the car seat strapped onto the stroller. Not a smart design by perego! It's easy to fold and light, which is what made me want this. I have used this for 7 months now and the wheels rattle and shake when I walk a little too fast. It feels like the wheels are about to pop off. I have to walk very leisurely. The whole stroller does not feel sturdy. The handles also feel loose. What I do love is how the seat can pretty much fully recline and the large hood. We initially wanted to get the Maclaran stroller but bought this instead because of the large hood and the price. I have a hand me down Graco stroller that feels much sturdier than this one and the Graco has already been through two other kids, my child being the third. Like I said, I really want to love this stroller because I like the color and it matches my car seat, but it's just too flimsy! I guess that's what I get for not checking out the stroller in the store before purchasing it!

I purchased this stroller because my Maclaren Quest did not recline all the way. I needed a stroller with added comfort when taking my son on vacation or trips to theme parks where he would have to be in his stroller for prolonged periods of time. After much research, I decided upon the Si because it was lightweight with a big sun canopy and had an extended foot rest with a full reclining seat.
For the most part I like this stroller because my Son Is able to take long naps in it when we are sight seeing or at amusement parks. It is very easy to steer, fold and unfold. the harness secures my son really well and the canopy can pull forward pretty far, shielding him from the sun on hot days. I also like that there is a cup holder provided and that the handle height is adjustable.
The only things that I did not like are that the stroller when folded is not as compact as I thought, it is also a bit heavier that my Maclaren Quest. The cup holder could also use improvement as it cannot hold a four ounce baby bottle securely. It is perfect for adult beverages though. The under cargo basket could also use improvement because it sometimes drags on the ground if too many items are placed in the basket. Unlike that Maclaren basket which is very high off the ground and never has dragging issues.
Inspite of these minor flaws, its still a very good/sturdy stroller overall and does its main duty which is to give my son a safe and comfortable ride. It was a little on the pricier end though and very similar to the Chicco Light Way which is almost $100.00 cheaper. I also have the Chicco Light Way which I had won in a raffle after I had purchased the Si and had I known of the light way any sooner, I probably would have saved the $100 and stuck with the Light Way instead as it virtually has a lot of the same features, with a more secure cup holder and also reclines as far as the Si. The Light Way also folds more compactly than the Si.

This review is for the 2010 model. Amazon has the 2009 and 2010 models mixed in the same purchase page. The 2010 is the one with the black bar in front of the seat.
You and your little one will fall in love with this stroller. It is so simplistic, yet it has everything you need. I didn't see one in person before purchasing, just went by reviews and specifications.
PROS:
-You can move it with 1 hand
-Best canopy shade in the market
-Folds down compact
-Large under-basket (note: 2010 model basket does not touch the ground with heavy/uneven objects in it)
-Has key/cell phone/mail/other pouch attached on canopy
-Easy on and off rear break (1 touch locks both wheels)
-Telescoping handles
-Handles have bag hooks!!! I really LOVE this feature!!
-Easy to put on/off baby harness
-Easy to collapse and open up
-Stands up when collapsed, which keeps it from getting dirty
-Front bar is great for kids to hold on to, hang toys, etc. It is also removable if your child doesn't like it
CONS:
-It's a great design and all, but I still think it's overpriced
-Carry handle is cheap and hurts your hand
Overall, this is an awesome stroller. I'm on my 4th and this is it. My daughter loves being in it. It is so easy to maneuver that I can do the crazy stuff she loves (going fast, cutting tight corners, going in circles, etc) and she holds on to the front bar while she laughs and gleefully squeaks. I was using it the other day during a hail storm and the canopy protected my daughter 100%.
Don't hesitate. Get this stroller. You will love it.

My wife and I love this stroller. Very easy to maneuver, easy to strap in the Peg Perego car seat so we can just transfer the baby in the seat, lightweight, but feels a lot sturdier than the umbrella strollers.
