I brought this product about 2 months ago for my 2 year old daughter (appx 35 lbs/36 inches). We use it on long and short trips. The support works well and attaches to both ends using velcro. I notice that if you detach the pillows a toddler will be more comfortable. Otherwise, I think this was a great purchase

I bought it to stop my sons head from flopping to the side when he fell asleep in the carseat but it just forced his head forward so that instead of flopping sideways it flopped forward.

This worked the best to support my baby's neck and head. However, it was a little uncomfortable for the baby, because he couldn't turn his head easily. I don't think there is another way to stabilise his head for safety though. Overall good product - durable to washing also.

I was hesitant to buy this product after reading some of the reviews, however, i ordered it and am VERY happy I did. I have not been able to find a way to keep my daughters head from slumping forward when in the car and this product completely solves that problem! I can see where perhaps some people had issues if they did not connect the supports to the straps appropriately but if you use it correctly then you shouldn't have any problems!

This product saved my sanity!!! We have two twin boys that absolutely must have their arms totally locked down to get any chance of sleep. We were using blankets to swaddle at first, but they kept "escaping" and then needed to be re-wrapped and then calmed back down to get them back to sleep, nightmare! We found this product and that first night we used them they only got up when they were hungry! Of course that does not mean everyone who uses these will instantly have that happen because we all know there are a multitude of reasons why babies get up, but this did exactly what we needed to keep their little arms from flailing while they slept and waking them up. The sizing can be tricky here. They have three sizes, preemie, small and large. Our little guys were five pounds when they were born, so the preemie size was a no brainier, but they did not fit properly into the small size till they hit eight or nine pounds. The large size (which we bought ahead of time to have when we need them) says they start at 14 pounds, but now my little guys are around 15 pounds and the large size is still a little loose on the larger boned of my two boys and it way too big for my smaller boned son. I would almost recommend the preemie size for any newborn under 8 pounds.
As far as the functionality of these wraps they are very versatile. You can undo the bottom and change a diaper w/o releasing the arms. You can also open, but not totally remove, the bottom and use the opening in the backside to strap them in their car seats while still swaddled (this worked wonderfully for us when transferring sleeping babies from a car seat to a crib w/o disturbing them too much). The material does stretch with use slightly and tighten up in the wash (similar to how jeans shrink up after washing them then ease back out when you have had them on a few minutes) but if you have the right size this should not be too big of an issue as the Velcro fasteners have a larger area to fasten to so you just pull it as tight or loose as you need. It is also very easy to leave one hand out when your baby wants access to his/her fingers and thumb. Our boys are three months now and have just started sucking their thumbs (self soothing is such a blessing), but if we leave both hands out the one they are not sucking just flails around and keeps them up still. So when they go down their left hand is out (both are little lefties) and their right hand is firmly tucked in the swaddle.
I looooove this product and would not go through the infancy stage without it!

This product worked well for me with two babies, and I'm sure the next baby will love it too. I don't mind that the fabric stretches a bit. But the one sad flaw is that the little hole for the seatbelt is only in the back! You are supposed to swaddle the baby AFTER you put him in the carseat/swing/other seat! This was a real problem. Imagine baby sleeping happily in the swing or bassinette, and it comes time to pick up/drop off another child at school. There's no way to get baby into the carseat without waking him up. Or another common scenario with my children was that baby would fall asleep while breastfeeding (swaddled), and then would need to sleep in a seat or swing because of acid reflux. Again, no way. I'd be stuck holding the little guys upright for 15-20 minutes until I was sure they wouldn't have reflux while lying down. So sad and so unnecessary. With a matching hole in the front it would have been easy.

My daughter is suprisingly a very light sleeper, and would get easily startled by the lightest sounds. She'd fling her arms and hit her face and wake herself up. When she was a newborn, I bought several of these SwaddleMe's, and they really worked for her during the first few months. Especially at night they kept her asleep for a long time. Not to mention they also kept her warm during the cold winter time. The cotton ones seem to be more comfortable. I also bought some fleece ones, but I was afraid it would get too hot for her, so I didn't use them as much. I washed them regularly, and they still hold together and in good shape. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

I have used Swaddle Me's for my last two babies. This one is made better than the old ones I have from 3 years ago. Kiddopotamus has made a few changes in the velcro placement that makes the baby stay swaddled better. I live in the south and I really like the cotton knit material for the warm and hot months. Just make sure you don't leave the velcro open for washing. It is very strong and will catch on other baby clothes and reduce the velcro strength. I couldn't do without these things!

We use this on our Graco stroller and I absolutely love it! You do have to have a fairly substantial canopy to begin with, but it adds a good 14 inches of coverage from the sun for our daughter. I only put sunblock on her feet now when we go for a walk. It does not work as well on our jogging stroller- the canopy on our jogger is more of a rectangle shape.

Super stretchy fabric (more gray than black) that provides an extra 1 - 1.5 feet of shade for my boo's little legs and feet. Simple to attach & adjust. Don't need to remove it to fold stroller & easy to push back to get baby in and out. Velcro not as bad as some reviews state - would be an easy repair / replacement if needed. Excellent year-round, especially for the price.

I bought 2 of these for my twin side by side stroller and it works like a charm. The canopies on the Trevi Twin are basically useless, and this helped so much with my infant and toddler at the beach. I was able to get 1 shade to cover both seats, but I wanted a little more protection and bought a second.
It was a little tricky to get these to attach. There are no directions, you just have to play around with your stroller and stretch it out to get a nice good fit that will work.
It is flimsy, but works oh so well. It was very windy at the beach, adn the canopies did blow up, but barely. Even when it did blow up it still kept my 2 month old completely shaded. I put a receiving blanket to the top to add some weight and the blow up issue was resolved. I was also able to fold up my side by side stroller with BOTH rayshades attached, with absolutely no problem and no bending of the shade.
If you are concerned about looks, it does make the stroller look goofy, but knowing that my kids are protected from the suns rays...it was well worth the stares!! Definetly would buy again.

i give this product 4 stars because it is great overall, but only because it is too light in the windy conditions, it tends to just flop back a little and it does get a bit annoying. otherwise it is great. easy to put it on, easy to adjust, gives my kid all the shade, pulls all the way down to my child's legs when he is in the stroller, so we can limit sunscreen now. i like the pockets on the side, and the little extra pocket for a bottle INSIDE the right pocket. very useful.sturdy material, breathable, washable, folds into itself for extra compact storage...love it! this is a must when we go out!

I purchased this shade to put on the front seat of my double stroller, as the shade up there is a a joke....The connections on the Kiddopotomus are not designed for that sort of use and it was too awkward to be useful. It is now in a heap in the front entry way and I am considering a clip on umbrella for the toddler in the front of my Graco, but I gave it 3 stars anyway as it looks like it would do what it says it will on a single stroller that already has a largish shade to support the extra sunshade....and yes I know that it says it is for a single stroller, but there doesn't appear to be one designed for a "single file" type double stroller!

I LOVE THESE! I ORIGINALLY BOUGHT THESE FOR MY NEWBORN SON, BUT THE WERE TO LARGE. SO WHEN MY 18 MONTH OLD NEICE CAME TO VISIT, I DECIDED TO TRY THEM OUT ON HER. i bought these bunny straps because i was looking for something soft to cover the straps in my newborns car seat. while they were indeed cute and soft, my baby hated them!! she cried every time i put her in the car seat and i couldnt figure out why. i finally realized it was because the straps would touch her face and she was trying to eat them! she was so frustrated! dont waste your money on these. and as i said in my title...even if these were free i still wouldnt use them.

NOT SAFE - DO NOT USE ANYTHING LIKE THIS!
Items like this have not been crash tested... are you willing to use your child as the test dummy? These covers interfere with the snugness of the straps, and the height of the chest clip. Harness straps should be worn SNUGLY against the child, and the chest clip should be at arm pit level; Meaning your child could possibly be ejected from their carseat in at accident. Why would you put your child at risk like that? Learn more about how to keep your kids safe in the car by reading your carseat manual, talking to a Child Passenger Safety Technician, or by doing a little more research. Get the facts. Don't trust random reviewers who don't know any better.
