The fabric was extremely soft and plushy- very high quality. The pillow seemed like it would be comfortable to sleep on, not lumpy or spongy. This was a gift for my 12-month-old neice. It fit her slightly chubby neck perfectly with a little grow room, and she loves a big Mickey Mouse being right in her face.
