This is a nice looking car seat that serves its purpose well. It's a little difficult to tell the exact coloring from the pictures, but it is tan, chocolate, and trimmed in a soft sage green. It is very easy to release the seat from its base. The only thing one might consider is that it is larger than most other car seats. It will obviously work well as my baby grows since I have heard others complain that their child outgrew their rear-facing car seat quickly. It may not work well for compact cars. Mine is installed in the middle of the back seat in a 3 Series BMW. If your car is any smaller than this, it probably won't fit. It might not even work as well in my car if it were installed behind the seat. I weighed the car seat itself at 9 lbs.
