I took my newly unpacked carseat to an event at a local mall where you could get carseat installation reviewed by the pros. I'm a grandma and was intimidated because I'm unfamiliar with all the different ways the straps should go. My daughter researched and recommended the model, and my teacher said it is the same one she hands out at her position in a developmental disability organization. She showed me all the ways the straps and conversions go and told me she likes the model for value and safety, and the straps fit on my 02 chevy. My daughter likes it too and said it works the same way her expensive one does, and even though it seems not to have lots of padding and doesn't recline much in the rear facing position, I'm confident it will suit my needs.

I purchased two of these car seats and I have had no trouble with them at all. My little girl fits very well in both and the seats are very easy to put in the car. I recommend adjusting the straps before you put the seat in the car. I just unpacked the car seat from the box and put my daughter in the seat to see where I should adjust the straps at. I took her out of the seat and adjusted the straps so they would fit her properly. Much easier that trying to do it in the car. :) I read in some of the other reviews that the cloth is very thin, but I did not find this at all.

-My 4 month baby was already big for the infant car seat so we decided to find an economical convertible carseat that would serve our needs until my baby turn 12 month.
-Cup holder which is included was unnecessary.

My husband and I bought two for our two grandchildren. At first we didn't quite understand how to get one to rear face comfortably, but after rereading the instructions, we got it. It is easy to use, easy to install and easy to convert. The only problem I saw was that sometimes the shape of the buckle that goes between the legs would be difficult to snap. But it did and I consider it a great deal and a great value. I highly recommend this car seat and if a friend needs one I would buy again as a shower gift.
