These are so soft and the velcro fasteners really hold tight. When we first got them though, they were a little big for my grandson who was only 6lbs and a couple weeks old. They did fold in half easily, but then it made the cover even thicker and the velcro didn't have no place to stick to, plus he seemed to get hidden in the thickness. I can see us using them when he's a little older, like toddler age. But they are a bit too long for newborn infants. They're great for helping him hold his head up right and actually helps him strengthen those neck muscles. And when he falls asleep, he uses them just like a big fat soft pillow. They must be good, he even smiles in his sleep!!!

I love these strap covers. Before we had the kind that had an animal head on them, but my son couldn't comfortably rest his head and they didn't match. Once I received these we put them on right away. They continue to fit perfectly and I know he's comfy because he falls asleep so much easier & resting his head. The only thing which I imagine is with all strap covers it's hard to have a bib on the baby at the same time because it gets hot (my son sweats very easily). The bright side is his outfit still doesn't get wet because the strap covers absorb the drool. I love that they match, that's a big plus to me and they're soft as soon as you get them. Then they become even softer after you wash and dry them. No fading and the material is still in great shape (after many washes). Also, they Velcro around the straps so you do not have to go through the trouble of taking the straps apart.
