 "no good!!" 2010-06-09

I consider this product completely USELESS!! My newly potty trained toddler had an accident and it went right through the pad as if there was nothing there at all. Not to mention that it doesn't stay in place at all. Definitely a waste of money.

 "Not at all waterproof!" 2010-03-03

I'm sure it would be fine if all you want is to let your child sit in the carseat with a damp bathing suit... however, if accident protection is what you're after, this is useless. I have a Britax, and my daughter's first accident in her car seat leaked right through, wetting the cover underneath and the middle seatbelt material. I ended up having to remove the cover to wash it, which is exactly the hassle I was trying to avoid in the first place. Very irritating. I just ordered the Kiddopotamus Deluxe instead. Wish me luck. ;)

 "SAVES TIME ON CLEANING" 2010-02-02
By Monique Faber (Madison, WI)
The first set I bought leaked like a seive. I returned the 2 and received new ones that work. The only downfall is that they slide around when my 3-year-old gets in the car seat by herself. It's convenient to remove the seat to shake out crumbs without having to remove the whole car seat. Fortunately, for me, the seat hasn't been tested for accidents. I did try it in under the kitchen faucet prior to installing it and it did not leak. It's possible that liquid could get through the openings on the sides for the car seat belts - but i'm not sure how any manufacturer could avoid that problem. I'd recommend this product.

"This isn't waterproof at all - don't buy it!" 2009-08-29
By Montessori Mom (Toronto, Ontario Canada)
I bought this because the size and shape looked great for my then-toddler daughter, and I liked that it had a hole for the car seat buckle to go through. However, the first road trip we used this on my daughter leaked through her pull-up AND through this allegedly "waterproof cushion." What a mess, and it was not fun to deal with cleaning up a wet car seat cover when we were on the road. This seat cover is definitely not waterproof at all - I was so mad it was advertised as such and to have wasted my money on it.

We have Piddle Pads instead, and while they're not perfect (the ones we have don't have a hole for the car seat buckle so you have to position them carefully as you're buckling in your child), I can definitely say that they are waterproof and have saved us numerous times from having to disassemble the car seat and wash the cover. So I would recommend the Piddle Pad over this product in a heartbeat. I see there's now a deluxe Piddle Pad that looks larger than what I currently have, and it also has a hole for the car seat buckle (perhaps helping it stay in place more easily?)... I will be buying one of these deluxe Piddle Pads to try it out!

"This is not the one for us" 2009-07-30

I really wanted to like this. It matches my daughters car seat and is made by the same company. But it is definitely NOT waterproof. It doesn't even hold a small accident. I have a hand wash, line dry car seat cover and this just doesn't cut it at all.
