I bought it for my 15 months old son for the trip to Europe. He played with it but only 10 minutes each way. just like other reviewer said the plane tray table will not close with air play on it. It's really great idea, wish it worked better.

We purchased this product to use on our recent 8 hour trip to Kauai. We were traveling with a 5 year old, a 3 year old and a 17 month old. I was quite concerned with having enough items to keep them occupied throughout the trip. We used the Air Play first and it was the only toy we had out the whole trip! My 17 month old child played with this product non-stop and got upset when we had to put it away for landing! I have read some of the reviews that the tray would not close, but we did not have that problem. It didn't matter anyways since we took it out once we were airborne and began to pack it up before we landed.
The product is very durable and is made out of a heavy denim type of fabric. The sewing is high quality and I know that this will last for a long time due to the way that it has been made. This is a first class product at a great price! For any parent who is out there thinking about a toy to travel with, this is the only one I recommend. No more waiting at the security line to get your DVD player inspected and x-rayed, this is a breeze to pack and keeps their attention. Plus it is much better to have them playing with this rather than stuck in front of a DVD movie. I hope the manufacturer continues to come out with more high quality products such as this. All I can say is thanks for making our travels so easy.

Used this product on a transatlantic flight to South Africa. It was good in that it's a silent toy which will not disturb other passengers. It was a challenge when actually attached to the tray table for my 14 month old as he couldn't reach it when he was strapped in. We ended up taking it off the tray and handing it to our son to play with. Another concern is that it is easy to loose the items which are attached with Velcro only as our son pulls them off and then lets go to go after the next one. They need a small tether.

We recently purchased Air Play for our 6 month old before a trip. She absolutely loved it! It kept her very entertained and made our flight so much easier. She enjoyed all the different toys on both sides of entertainment center. It's very compact and easy to bring along. This is a must for any traveling family!

I loved the concept of this idea, but it didn't fit properly over the tray and the tray could not be locked into place. Because we had our 1 year old on our lap, it was impossible to keep the tray down without it squishing us. Even though we didn't use it over the tray, he did like playing with it, but probably because it was a new toy, not a special airplane toy. I would suggest not spending your money on this and buying a new toy that they can use outside the airplane.
