The intention of this produt is admirable, but the size of it is its only detraction. While I understand that this item , if oversized, could possibly create a safety hazard by limiting rear visibility, its small size makes it very hard to see the baby in the rear of the car. In effect, you are looking into the rearview mirror in front of the car, aiming for this little mirror on the rear windshield, and finding the baby's reflection in it. It is very difficult even to make out facial features because of the small size of the image.

There are several other mirrors available, all for more money. I think the reason this mirror is so cheap is because it doesn't work. The mirror doesn't stay adjusted and the mirror parts fall apart.
