 "One minute Wonder Wheel" 2010-02-02
By K. Hill (San Diego, CA)
That's how long my daughter played with it. Whenever I hand it to her she will press one or two buttons, then toss it down. It would have been so much better if it would also say the name of the animal instead of just the sound.

"The child I gave this to is thrilled to have it and plays with it constantly when in his car seat!" 2010-01-09

I bought this for a former foster child I had. His new "mother" called me as soon as it was installed so I could listen to all the fun he was having with it. They live a far distance from anything, so thought it would be a great gift to keep him entertained on long trips. Great product!

 "Disappointing" 2009-12-08

I ordered this item for my one year old son. I received the product realising that the supplier had the 'good' sense to leave the batteries inside. It must have been in there a while because the batteries leaked, stained and rusted the product and it is not working! I hope I get a refund.

Took this on our first road trip with our 15 month old son. Kept him busy for at least 30 min at a time.

 "Wonder Wheel, Wonder Why????" 2008-12-26
By Lindsay (Plymouth, MI)
I'm at an impass with this toy. I like it and my children (16mos and 3) seem to like it, but it doesn't live up to the potential. The pluses are as follows: the animal sounds and song are very cute and not obnoxious or annoying. The colors are vibrant and the lights are somewhat captivating. The downfall of this toy, which is so dissapointing to me, is the failed potential. The 'idea' is creative and would seem unique but it falls short- very short. For a very small child this might be fun but the toy is for forward facing carseated children. My 16 month-old is waaaay beyond the learning aspects this toy is suposed to capture. You press the sheep the sheep lights up and says baa. You press the dog and the dog lights up and says woof- and so-on and so-on. It only plays one song that seems to go on forever. Basic is the perfect word to describe this toy. After you've pressed the four animal buttons and one song button the magic is gone and it becomes boring very fast. There is a horse pictured on the toy but there is no corresponding button to make it neigh. I've given this toy three stars for the quick-ride entertainment value. If you want something for a long ride look elsewhere. If you want something educational this misses the mark.
