We had the baby trend zanzibar travel system with my daughter. Assuming we were not having more children I sold it and 2 1/2 years later a little boy came along 3 weeks early. Ordered this and it got here right before we had to bring him home from the NICU. The seat is wonderful, I knew I wanted baby trend. It's easy to get in and out of the car, the trangle handle at the top is wonderful and the seat is sooo light weight!

I have a 18 month old and am 4 months pregnant. I spent a long time comparison shopping and am glad I chose this car seat. We had an Eddie Bauer with our first and it was really awkward to carry and hard to clean. This one has a super versatile handle, has been easy to get in and out of the car and works great with the matching double stroller we got! It is also very affordable, but still good quality - and if anyone needs to know it is one of the narrowest car seats (not too small for baby), but that really helps if you have more than one kid and a smaller car.

This car seat frustrates me daily! It is damn near impossible to use the flex loc to get the handle to go down. So I have to carefully try and pull my baby out of the car seat with the handle still up. I've accidentally bumped him several times because it's in the way and he jerks just as I'm getting him out. The car seat is awkward to carry as well, but mainly I hate the fact that no person alive is strong enough to get the darn handle to go down!

We just received this carseat in last week and looked it all over...love the pattern/colors and material. LOVE the fact that it's fairly light weight which is always a plus for the new mom carrying it around. I had my husband hold the handle at every angle as he has big hands and was concerned that might be our only issue but it was perfect and he LOVED the different angles and the fact he could handle it with no problem it's easier on the hards and joints this way. The quality is excellent and we can't wait to use it on our newborn due at the end of May. We even took it out of base and locked it back in and it was a smooth transition with no problems. The locks that are used for vehicle hooks are quite high tech and have changed in the last three years since we had our first child they are much easier to manage. It appears very safe and we are very anxious to start using it for our newborn "coming soon". I would certainly recommend it to anyone based on what I have seen so far. Thank you for making our children safe. Next to order is an additional base!!!
