This bag worked wonderfully for the flight to our destination. However, on the flight home, the wheel bracket broke. It can no longer be wheeled on the ground and must be carried. I filed a claim with the airline who replied they will not cover the bag because the wheels protrude from the rest of the bag. The JL Childress website says they will not cover damage caused by airlines. So, $40 for 2 flights. It was great while it lasted, but expensive for a poor quality design.

I liked the sturdy bottom of this travel bag. it fit our britax marathon fine (required a bit of manuevering). However, I was disappointed that the strap broke on the return trip of our first use. For the price we paid, I would have expected the strap to last for multiple trips.

If you are looking for a low cost solution to protect your expensive car seat, this travel bag is perfect. With the rising cost of checked baggage there is plenty of room to put more than just the car seat inside the travel bag, and as a "special item" it generally is checked for free.

We bought this cover and loved it in theory. The wheels broke on the first flight. The zipper broke after only 3 flights. We did not even over load it. Very frustrating.

We purchased this bag ahead of a trip home for Thanksgiving. Previously we had borrowed a bag for our car seat (it having not occurred to us previously that the car seat would be yet another fun item to travel with with the addition to our family). We thought this bag was much better. It seems durable and the wheels are a big plus when you're dragging all the "family luggage" through the airport. A "tugging handle" might be nice (but also could make it less "collapsable", for easy storage, which it now is and is a plus).
