Worked great when it was sitting in my lap, but as soon as I put it under the mattress the vibrator would not work! I tried moving the baby's monitor, moving the unit to the other end of the crib, completely unplugging the monitor and nothing worked! Sending this one back.
Thank goodness Amazon is so great about returns!

We had a Playard with a vibration unit and it worked so well that I wanted to have vibration for the crib as well. However, this product did not work. If the vibration unit was more than 2 inches from the base unit, it stopped working. I called the company and they said that the problem was due to interference and it could be from a baby monitor, cordless phone, hair dryer, the neighbors, or just about anything. Yet my cordless phone and baby monitor work and this product does not. The company suggested that I return it to the retailer. The music is also poor quality so I would not recommend it for that either. Very disappointing.

I use this mainly for the vibration mode. My baby (now 4m) has been using it since 1m old & loves it. Wish I had had it for my 1st 2 babies!!
It's easy to use, easy to move around to different cribs, & also easy to travel/fly with.
To keep it simple & reduce the interference/battery issues, I just keep the vibration unit wrapped in a soft blanket, sitting in the far corner of the top of the mattress. I keep the control unit sitting right next to it. It gives a soft vibration, doesn't rattle & doesn't loose reception. It does what it's designed to do!!

This works great. My newborn is premiee and after speending over a month in the NICU he seemed to be use to the noise and activity around him. So it became hard to get him to sleep well at home. My little guy is our fourth boy so we tried all the tricks we knew. I bought this after reading through the reviews and product description and it lives up to its design. My little guy is only four months now and he sleeps alomst straight through the night. THe vibrations help me relax and sleep soundly. We are currently using this in a portable crib so we have the motor underneath his pad and it works fine. This does required a lot of batteries (x4 C cell and x4 AA) so I recommend getting rechargables if you don't already have some. If you run the vibrations and the music alot the batteries will wear down fast. I primarily use the motor and the batteries will last for close to a month. I recommend this to anyone with little people. Great product for the price and meets expectations.

We bought this for our child who had colic and it worked well - in the way that if you put the baby in the crib when she is asleep the soother kept her sleeping; however, if the baby is wide awake, crying and/or agited it will not put her to sleep. We kept vibrating unit under the matress and the unit on the crib rail and worked without any problem. It does have randon brakes and sometimes it takes a long, unexpected break and the baby may wake up a little but will fall back to sleep again. It works only for 10 minutes at a time so you need to watch out if need be for another run to start it again. We bought the "SleepTight" as well and found out that is much louder and is basically just an engine that runs continuosly but not very useful. Probably the intermittent run of the crib soother is more closer to the car drive mode. Definitely one of the most useful items we bought; we are using it even now when she doesn't have colic to put her to sleep. I would definitely recommend it.
