This was just a great little toy. Lilly is near 8 mts old and has 5 teeth comming in up top. The ears, legs, round rings, the scarf around thie neck, and feet all make for such a diverse texture for her to bite, the body is so soft! It may not be as flashy colorful as the other toys lamaze makes, but she loves it more than the peakock she has!

I purchased Mortimer the Moose a few months back for my 8 month old. He LOVES Mortimer. He plays with Mortimer's feet and chews on his plastic ears- It has been a wonderful teething toy as well as a toy that my son just loves to hug. Mortimer has rings on his hind end to allow him to be hung with the use of a lively link which was very helpful with my son not dropping Mortimer from his bouncer, car seat, and stroller. Recently my son has realized that if Mortimer is squeezed he squeeks which my son is fanscinated by. I am really impressed that my son has not grown bored with Mortimer as frequently happens with toys after a couple of weeks. I recommend Mortimer for any baby.
