Sleep is the single most important ingredient to a healthy, happy life for both parents and baby. Without sleep, energy levels drop, immune systems crash and tempers flare. Natural Mat mattresses have been proven to help babies sleep through the night. Natural Mat's pure organic mattress protectors are all hand made by Natural Mat in the heart of the Westcountry in Devon, England. For the best level of comfort for your baby and to provide the best protection for your Natural Mat mattress, we recommend one of our organic breathable mattress protectors on top of the mattress. This revolutionary product will allow all the self ventilating properties of the mattress to function normally, so perspiration will easily and quickly evaporate, but will not let any moisture through to the covers. On top of the protector we suggest a crisp organic cotton percale for the summer, and a soft flannelette for the winter.

"Not perfect, but very functional and esthetically compatible with your expensive seats." 2009-12-21
By Frank E. Trinkle (Valdosta, GA USA)
Bought this Ultra Mat to protect my very expensive leather seats in my 2010 Armada. The Mat is functional and performs as advertised. My child seat doesn't slip as others have warned and it matches my charcoal interior without drawing attention to itself.

My only real negative is the cheap strap the wraps around the headrest to "secure" the Ultra Mat. It's pretty cheap and questionable as to how long it may hold up. I would have preferred a more robust attachment mechanism than what this product has.

All in all though, the mat does its job and protects my leather without scuffs, indentations, or marks, so it's a PLUS purchase recommendation, and far better than any of the competitive products that claim the same function.

Overall: Recommended

 "Good protectant" 2009-12-11
By Fleur
I have now been using the Sunshine Ultra Mat for over 6 month. It was easy to install. No problems w/ slippage of my car seat and best of all it is definitely helping to preserve my backseat.

 "slips some" 2009-08-24
By T. Gant (Chi-town)
But they have saved our leather seats. The pouched are small and not very handy. If the seats aren't absolutly tight, the cover makes them shift.

 "STAINS STAINS STAINS" 2009-12-22
By psubill78 (Kenosha, WI)
I wish that I had read these reviews before I bought this POS thing. My light leather seats, now yellowed.

 "WARNING!!!!!! WILL STAIN SEATS!!!" 2009-12-06
By R. J. Stalka
This product Stained our Tan leather seats...Be Ware!!! It works great but our seats are stained from the backing on the bottom of this product. WARNING!!!!

 "Buyer Beware" 2009-02-21
By Rancyd
Turned my light gray leather car seat yellow in all the places the mat touched it. The dye from the mat must have bled. The car seat is ruined.

 "Great product but...." 2008-10-09
By Neil Carney (Media, PA)
Purchased Super Mat years ago when my children were infants. They are both 9 and 7 and I still am using the mat. Does a great job of protecting your vehicle's seats from damage. Does not protect the seat backs that can get marked up from the full size child seats. I would have bought the Ultimate version of this product that does cover the entire seat if I had known about it then. Now that my boys are in booster seats, this mat is really doing it's job. Kids love the handy pocket to store their "stuff".

 "Highly functional" 2007-03-08
By M. Chan (Vancouver, BC)
Item fits well in the seat of the car. The rubber gripped lining prevents it from sliding around, and the surface is easy to damp wipe.
