 "Great!" 2010-01-11
By Brittany
I bought this when my son was a year old bc I was sick of our big high chair and thought that it would be nice to bring to restaurants. What ended up happening is that it bacame his booster seat at the table and he used it until he was ready to sit in the seat without a booster seat so we got 1 1/2 years use out of it. Now we have another son and wish I knew what I did with it but looks like I'm going to have to buy another one. It was stable and never broke. Crumbs and food dofall inbetween the cracks so make sure you empty the chair out once a day but other than that it's a great little seat!

 "smells AWFUL" 2009-05-07
By Michael Drob (Scotch Plains, NJ)
This seat is very convenient and it's always in our car, but the smell is just really toxic and terrible. i thought it would air out but it's been over a year and it still smells like the inside of a plastics factory. 5 stars for usability, 2 for "wtf! this is for kids" .. use better materials!

 "Not Safe" 2009-03-31
By Marci Lowman (Miami, Florida United States)
My 6 month old baby fell backwards, chair and all, in this seat. Use a high chair with legs that pyramid out. This product is not safe.

 "Don't waste your money" 2009-02-20
By Jon M. Stark (Danvers, MA USA)
Several friends loved this seat so I bought it too. But it was a mistake. Materials are of poor quality. Both nylon clips for strapping it down to the seat and back of the chair broke within 12 months. One broke after just a few months but the other eventually did too .. cheap plastic. Also the seat caved in long before our son reached 30 pounds.

The 'first years' booster we own is much older and none of the clips on it have ever failed so it isn't us. It's this seat and its poor materials.

 "Love it!!" 2009-02-15
By cbcraw (Arlington, TX USA)
We received this chair as a baby shower gift. We love it!! My son is now more than 2&1/2 and we still use it all of the time. If fact we used it tonight. He is close to the weight limit of 30lbs now and it is still working well. We get so many compliments on the chair people just think it is so neat...and it really is.

Pros: 1. Your child doesn't have to sit in a dirty restaurant highchair or booster. 2. Very portable, folds up almost flat, lightweight, and easy to use. 3. Keeps your kiddos secure and still. 4. Very comfortable (or so says my son) 5. Cons: 1. A little hard to clean (*see below). 2. You can't use it in a booth. 4. It would be nice if there were a place to store the straps that attach to the booster to the chair so they didn't just hang down when it is folded up. 5. It is a little awkward to attach the booster bottom straps to the bottom part of the chair, you have to get down on your knees or stick your butt up in the air. (In fairness, any chair like this would have this problem) We just never buckle the bottom strap anymore and it still holds my son just fine...but I wouldn't do that with a baby or a wiggly kiddo.

*Tip for cleaning: I take mine out on the back porch, hose it down with water, use a tiny bit of Ivory dish soap, and scrub it with a small kitchen brush similar to a toothbrush but a little larger. This method seems to get it pretty clean. The fabric has proven very durable.

After close to three years of use I'm impressed with this little seat. The pros far outweigh the cons and I would purchase this product again without hesitation. It is well worth the money so much, so we will be getting one soon for our new daughter.
