I bought this BabyBjorn as a gift for a friend, since I have used my own for the past 2.5 years and LOVE IT! I had a c-section with both my babies and found it too difficult to carry the stroller and instead opted to use my baby carrier instead. I use it for EVERYTHING! Whether it's keeping the baby quiet while I make supper or do errands to traveling to doctor appointments by bus. It is so light, so comfortable and fits so well, when you take the time to properly adjust the straps. It is the best baby carrier on the market. My baby is already one (weighing 22lbs) and I still use it and we both enjoy it!

At first it was hard to figure out how to use it but once I got the hang of it I use it all the time. Where ever I go my baby goes and baby doesn't mind it as long as I am walking around. I am so glad to finally get things done and baby is happy.

We used this carrier recently on baby's first trip via airplane. It was great carrying him around in the airport and having my hands free for luggage and other stuff. The carrier is sturdy and comfortable. I was able to sit on the plane with him strapped in asleep, which was nice. We used the carrier with him facing him forward as well. The nice bonus with this carrier, and I suspect with other carriers, too, is that you don't have to take him out of it when you go through the metal detector at the airport security gate, since the carrier has no metal parts. This is especially wonderful if your baby is already asleep and you don't want to disturb him/her just to get through security.
The only downside with the carrier that we've found is that it's pretty difficult to adjust it for various baby sizes. The carrier did not hurt my back at all, and I'm fairly petite with an average-size baby.

I bought this when I was expecting my first. I was naive like so many other new moms. I hated it. It was uncomfortable and I hated that my daughter was dangling in it. I later discovered that this was not good for her spine b/c all her weight was on it rather than her butt.
I did some research and found the Ergo. We loved it! She sat on her butt in it and it was much more comfortable. It has a hip belt that helps distribute the baby's weight. The weight limit is much higher (probably over 35 lbs) and you can wear it on your back. I wore her in the Ergo until she was well past 2 years old.
For the price, the Bjorn a waste of money b/c you can't use it for as long as you can other carriers. We now have a Beco as well, which enables you to secure the baby in the carrier before putting it on, which is helpful with a back carry. We use the Ergo and Beco interchangeably. I definitely recommend going against what is typically in the stores and research what is out there. I have over a dozen different carriers, slings, wraps, etc. I use most of them for different situations. The only one that I never use is the Bjorn. I know there are a lot of people that like it, but I strongly recommend looking into other options that will last longer, save your back, and allow your baby to sit properly will being babyworn.

It works very good. I like it. But it supports small baby only. I would hope it supports bigger baby.
