  We love this car seat. It is so easy to use with the Graco snug ride frame and clicks very easily into it and into the carseat base in the car. The foam is very soft (Gracopedic foam) and the color is nice and neutral. The material is smooth and easy to clean. It is so comfortable that our baby falls asleep the minute his body touches it. It is slightly heavier than the regular Graco infant car seat, but I think that is worth it as it can carry an infant of up to 32 lb. The only complaint is that the instruction manual was very confusing and we could have not figured it out if the nurse in the hospital didn't show us how to use it.

  This seat was used from newborn until 11 months for my son. Everything was as advertised and completely met my expectations. The cover is easy to take off and launder. The buckle is easy to open and close. The straps are easy to loosen/tighten. It is kinda a pain to change the strap shoulder height (but most seats are). The seat is large and is relatively heavy, but I could lug it around into the house and back easily. I wish the seat would snap into most shopping carts (it doesn't). Overall, I was pleased with our choice. My son seemed very happy in the seat. We now have a First Years True Fit and really like that as well.

  I have this same seat in a different color and loved it. My daughter is 19mos and just transitioned out of it last month b/c the height and weight limits go so high. She now has a Radian 65 seat which I highly recommend as a great second seat.
  
  
  
  I had the snugrides for my boys when they were babies but they only could use the seat for 4-6mos tops b/c they are big boys. I had thought about getting a Radian for my daughter's first seat, but I wanted something portable and the Radian does not come out as it does not have a handle.
  
  
  
  The safeseat was a great compromise. It lasted a year and a half and in the meantime, I could save up for the Radian 65. I'm for extended rear facing til 35lbs and this seat made it very easy as it doesn't press babies legs up against the seat. The Safeseat is a bit heavier than the snugride, but the safeseat lasts longer. Also with the base, there is no way you could improperly install it. Great seat, great purchase. Also the seat I have is a very light tan color and never looks dirty.
