"Good Value, Not so hard to install" 2009-11-08
By S. L. Pon (Phx AZ USA)
I am currently using this for my 4month old

I find the seat thoug lightly padded but still comfortable.

I am able to adjust the harness after the seat is installed as rear facing

There are feedback that the seat move even tightly installed. However i have no such issue at all

Yes, i do agree that the seat does not recline as much as infant car seat, so I DIY a method that solve the issue

I have load up some photos, check it out..

Solution:

When install to car, one have to use the whole body weight for tight fit

Cut 3 pool noodles, tap together and place it under recline bar to create the angle

Before tighten the belt, i make use of the toddler harness, hook it below the seat and i tighten it

so this way, the seat will not move either left or right, front and back

remember to use the teether on the seat belt

(Maybe the photo will provide a better view)

 "Great for travel" 2009-08-17
By Nicole Bellows
We have had the previous model of the Tribute for the last 2+ years and have been pleased with it. It is particularly good for travel since it is light-weight and easy to install. The LATCH straps ripped off on one trip, courtesy of Delta Airlines, but that could be resolved with a car seat bag or making sure the attendants at airports wrap the car seats in plastic. It also cleans up nice and dries quickly for those with children who get motion sickness.

"Bad fit for young infant" 2009-04-07
By Paty Kay (Chicago Area)
Cons: The harness adjuster is not accessible once it is installed.

The seat was not a good fit for my 3-4 month old 13-15lbs. His head was always extremely tilted to the side, he looked extremely uncomfortable.

The buckle and chest clip are difficult to get undone

Pros: Was very easy to get a tight install

And of course you can't beat the price

But this was returned...

 "It's working for now..." 2008-10-21
By Melissa Damon (Lynchburg, VA)
We like this seat, but our son (2) complains that it hurts his bottom. It seems to me that the buckle between his legs is awfully close and probably gets uncomfortable. We bought this seat hoping to use it for a year or more, but I think our son will out grow it pretty quick.

 "Easy and safe" 2008-10-09
By Holly Henderson (boston, ma)
I was hesitant to buy this because I am not fond of the print, but it got such great reviews that it seemed like the best option. I also wanted a seat that would keep my son rear-facing longer before switching him to forward-facing.

I was not previously familiar with the LATCH system, so it took me awhile to install the first seat (about 45 minutes). The second seat took about two minutes because I knew what I was doing.

It seems comfortable for my 13-month-old son. He is not fond of car seats in general, but he seems to struggle less in this one than he did in the last one. I appreciate the accessible buckle for adjusting the straps (the one between the legs). I will need to move the shoulder straps up to the next level soon and I just hope that I don't have to un-LATCH the seat to do that.

Overall a good option. Easy to install if you are familiar with LATCH, comfortable and strudy.
