"Made in China, despite their website claims" 2010-01-30
By Anthromom (West Des Moines, Iowa United States)
We just purchased our third Britax car seat-- this model, the Britax Parkway SG for our oldest son. I knew it would be awesome in the safety department, which is why we've gone with Britax in the past. In the end, that matters most with a carseat. However, I am 110% disappointed with the fact that they are advertising themselves falsely. The BritaxUSA.com homepage shows a U.S. flag, and says they are proud to offer carseats made in the USA. I opened up our box today when it arrived, and went to register our Parkway model for any recall notices. What do I find when I seek out the serial number? A big Made In China sticker, right at the bottom. It's a shame.

"Better than average booster seat" 2009-12-31
By D. Belle-Isle (Alexandria, VA United States)
We like this booster seat. My son finds it comfortable. It feels safe based on the additional support between the legs. After using it for a couple weeks I would purchase again. The only thing that I notice - and my son has really long legs - is that on long trips his legs fall asleep - it happened in his previous seat also - I think it's just him because he's tall for his age and the seats hit him in a bad spot. We stuck a cooler under his feet as a rest and that seemed to solve the problem.

"Britax Parkway Booster car seat" 2009-12-08

Great so far. My 7 year old is able to buckle himself in and out. All the car seats I've used are by Britax and have all been great.

 "Perfect fit" 2009-11-29
By K. Miles (Ann Arbor, MI)
This seat fits perfectly in our new Chevy Traverse. No problem with the headrest. My son is on the light weight range but his torso was too long to stay in a car seat. This booster has a track for the shoulder belt to run through and it keeps the belt from hitting his neck. It is also great that it has a belt clip for the waist belt to prevent him from sliding out of the seat. We have owned three Britax car seats that were all far superior to Graco and other brands. The safety and comfort of your own family is well worth the price!

 "Great quality and safty" 2009-11-22
By Thorsten Mollmann (Southern California)
Overall a great booster. I'm professional firefighter/paramedic and have unfortunately seen more than my share of car accidents with children in the car. There are other seats out there, but none in my opinion are as safe as the Britax or maybe Sunshine Kids seats. My kids love this new Parkway because its comfortable. I like it because it's safe and it's Made in USA.

Why a parent would put the most valuable thing in their life (their children) in a cheep Chinese car seat that makes the C- government standard instead of the A+ standard (Britax) in beyond me. Most seats out there meet the "minimum standard", but "minimum" and "safety" just don't go together in my opinion. Spend the few extra bucks for real safety for your kids. I do, and I sleep better for it.
